How Whatnot fees work

What fees does Whatnot charge sellers?

Whatnot charges an 8% commission on the item price plus a payment processing fee of 2.9% of the buyer's total (item plus shipping) plus $0.30 per order. Buyer-paid shipping goes toward the label, not to you.

How is my Whatnot payout calculated?

Payout = item price − 8% commission − (2.9% × (item price + buyer shipping) + $0.30). That payout is the TRANSACTION_AMOUNT column in your weekly earnings CSV.

Is this calculator exact?

It follows Whatnot's published fee schedule. Promotions, coupons and rounding can move individual orders by a few cents, and Whatnot can change its fees, so always confirm against your own statement.
