Where do I get my Whatnot CSV?
Whatnot Seller Hub → Finances → Your Statements and Reports → Weekly Earnings Report → Download CSV. Monthly and annual exports are PDFs without row detail and won't work.
Is MARGN.PLUS affiliated with Whatnot?
No. MARGN.PLUS is an independent analytics tool. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Whatnot, Inc. We only process the CSV data you choose to upload.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your individual data is never shared. At registration you can optionally opt in to contribute anonymized, bucketed aggregates to industry trend reports (no seller ID, no buyer names, no item titles ever included). You can opt out anytime from your account page.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click on the Account page — no retention maze. You keep Pro until the end of the billing period you paid for, then drop to Free. Everything you uploaded stays in your dashboard either way, and you can download your complete merged CSV anytime from Account → Tax prep. And if you'd rather leave entirely: delete your account and we forget who you are — email, password, buyers, insights, all of it erased.
Does this work for Pokémon / Funko / card sellers?
Yes. MARGN.PLUS auto-detects your primary category from your uploads, and the full feature set works the same for every Whatnot niche — cards, fashion, Funko, coins, anything.
Is this AI?
No — and that's on purpose. Your dashboard is straight math: we parse your CSV and compute the numbers, so the same file always produces the same totals. Nothing is estimated, predicted, or hallucinated. AI shows up in exactly two places. ✨ Insights: Claude writes plain-English observations about your pseudonymized stats — when you click the button, and automatically after a Pro upload (both draw from the same monthly credits). And if a CSV fails to import, Claude diagnoses the format from column names and value shapes only — never your actual data. Either way, AI never touches your dashboard numbers.
What's an insights pack, and what does it cost?
When you upload a CSV, we generate a pack of plain-English observations about your week — top buyer (by name), worst margin item, peak hour, format-AOV gap, etc. Free tier includes 1 pack (your trial); Pro includes 15 per month. Generated packs stay in your dashboard permanently, free to re-read.

Read-only by design. We never touch your store.
What we can see
Whatever's in the CSV you upload — orders, buyer handles, amounts, dates. That's how reports get generated. We have to read your file to give it back to you with structure. And "we" mostly means our code: parsing is fully automated, so day to day nobody is looking at your numbers but PHP scripts. A person opens your account only to debug a failed upload or a problem you report, and that access is logged.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never share it with other sellers. We never use it to train AI models — when you ask for insights, Claude analyzes pseudonymized stats (next card), and Anthropic doesn't train on that traffic either. We never use buyer handles outside your own dashboard. And we never touch your Whatnot account — no API access, no login, no connection to their servers.
When Claude reads your stats
Everything that could identify a buyer, product, or region
is replaced with positional tags before the prompt leaves
our server — Claude sees buyer_a,
item_p1, state_a, never real
handles, titles, or states. We swap the tags back to the
real strings in your dashboard so the cards still read
naturally. Dollar amounts and counts go through because
they aren't identifying. Anthropic doesn't train on API

Your kill switch
Delete any single upload from Account → Data, or everything at once from Account → Danger Zone. It's gone — we don't keep a hidden copy. Canceling Pro never touches your data; only you can erase it, and when you do, it stays erased.
